The link above relates to FRAUD investigations against RAC Auto Windscreens, The RAC had to repay £820,000 to insurers and sacked some staff. The level that some companies work to astounds us. We ALWAYS THOUGHT INSURANCE FRAUD WAS FROWNED UPON BUT NOT IN THE CASE OF BIG COMPANIES IT SEEMS, if this was JOE PUBLIC I am sure he would have been hammered for this sort of FRAUD more information here

Welcome to windscreenleak.com, there is plenty to see and read so have a good rummage around so you don't miss anything. This site is dedicated to RAC AUTO WINDSCREENS and the very unprofessional service they provided me and several other customers with. RAC AUTO WINDSCREENS 26 SHORE STREET INVERNESS IV1 1NG fitted a new windscreen to my car but failed to seal it correctly then left my car full of water for seven days whilst they ignored my requests for them to repair the leak they left and repair the faults that developed as a result of the water that flooded the electrics. Then they decided to repair the leak,  then LIE about where it came from......BUT THEY WERE CAUGHT OUT AS I ALREADY HAD THE PROOF AND THE WITNESSES I NEEDED TO INCRIMINATE THEM.....and prove they lied to me and BELL INSURANCE, Then to round things off I received a nasty email from a NORWICH UNION IP Address.

NEW WINDSCREEN FITTED 30TH MARCH 2006 BY RAC AUTO WINDSCREENS 26 SHORE STREET, INVERNESS, IV1 1NG.

BUT THERE IS ONE THING THEY DIDN'T DO RIGHT
SEAL IT!

This is the New Windscreen RAC AUTO WINDSCREENS IN INVERNESS fitted, covered in condensation, on the inside, I am told this is a sure sign of a windscreen leak, 2 OTHER PROFESSIONAL WINDSCREEN FITTERS have told me this. But RAC AUTO WINDSCREENS said NO it MUST BE THE HEATER MATRIX, it is strange the heater matrix is leaking after RAC AUTO WINDSCREENS fitted a new windscreen do you not think, the car has not been moved in days and there was no condensation inside it before RAC AUTO WINDSCREENS fitted a new windscreen

Nice clean water after the first downpour of rain in the passenger side foot well "NO RAC AUTO WINDSCREENS DID NOT AGREE IT STILL MUST HAVE COME FROM MY HEATER MATRIX"
FUNNY! AS IF IT CAME FROM THE HEATER IT WOULD BE GREEN/BLUE LIKE THE ANTI FREEZE IN THE ENGINE DON'T YOU THINK.
Strange that when I covered the car with a tarpaulin there was no further increase in the water level until the tarpaulin got blown off ON A STORMY RAIN FILLED NIGHT then the water was twice as deep the next day as I am sure RAC AUTO WINDSCREENS 26 SHORE STREET INVERNESS, IV1 1NG can confirm as they lifted all the water out with a wet and dry vacuum.

Really poorly fitted seal, on the passenger side, I know this doesn't mean there was a leak but it does show what the seal looked like after RAC Auto Windscreens fitted my new windscreen and before the car left for RAC AUTO WINDSCREENS DEPOT AT 26 SHORE STREET, INVERNESS, IV1 1NG ON THE 14TH OF APRIL 2006 (incidentally look at how dirty the screen is after sitting in the rain for a week because RAC AUTO WINDSCREENS could not be bothered to sort out the leak they left)

RAC AUTO WINDSCREENS 26 SHORE STREET INVERNESS HAD THE CAR BACK FOR 5 DAYS AND THEN CALLED ME TO SAY THEY COULD NOT FIND A LEAK. THANKFULLY I TOOK PICTURES AND INVITED SOME PEOPLE TO CHECK THE CAR BEFORE RAC AUTO WINDSCREENS TOOK IT BACK TO INVERNESS FOR REPAIR

And until I had challenged RAC AUTO WINDSCREENS MANAGER and his fitter they didn't tell me they had even removed the seal, but this is how it looked when I went in to collect my car after they "NEVER"  repaired the leak. (now look at how clean the screen is) There reply to this was that they clean the screen on every vehicle they take in, but there was another vehicle in there depot being worked on WHICH I TOLD THEM THEY SHOULD GO AND CLEAN AS NO ONE HAS BOTHERED TO CLEAN IT, BUT THEY HAD CLEANED MINE AND EVERY OTHER VEHICLE THAT COMES IN......Why did you need to remove the outer trim/seal to check for leaks NO ONE ELSE HAD TO? and I can't understand why you removed the seal/trim either and as you ignored all my letters you have never explained it to me,  I had no choice but to start this website as you cant ignore everything!!!

This was the seal after RAC AUTO WINDSCREENS never repaired the leak that was in the WINDSCREEN, according to other WINDSCREEN FITTING COMPANIES this seal/trim cannot be refitted without removing the WINDSCREEN maybe that is why I found broken glass inside the car when I picked it up, maybe RAC AUTO WINDSCREENS broke the new screen whilst trying to fix the leak and had to replace the screen again. I will never know what really happened in the RAC AUTO WINDSCREENS INVERNESS WORKSHOP but there is one thing that I am sure about and that is RAC AUTO WINDSCREENS LIED about what they did to my car.

This was the windscreen the next morning after RAC AUTO WINDSCREENS 26 SHORE STREET INVERNESS IV1 1NG asked me to believe they did no work to my car following its 5 day holiday in their Inverness workshop.
